These case studies tell the story of how 16 women have benefitted from the Micro Enterprise Project (MEP) through not only the monetary grant (equivalent to about £40) but the training and advice in order to set up or develop further, businesses of their own. They range from brass rod tinkering to running a grocery shop or cafe.

Each woman has an individual story to tell, some are slightly better off than others but all of them come from extremely poor backgrounds, hopefully, through this much needed provision, all are on the road to self sufficiency.
